There is supposedly a themed party tonight for Jesse's birthday. 80's business casual. I really hope it happens: my friends have a history of trying to plan epic events that never really work out. Like pirate parties where no one dresses up because one person tells everyone it's not a themed party. And then there's getting everyone to come over and all that...So we'll see. I have today and tomorrow off of work, so I'm very much wanting to do something exciting.
My weekend was amazing. Thursday Brenda, Jen, and I went to SLC to see Iron & Wine. Found 91$ in the road on 6th south, which paid for everything. Got shitty drunk at the show. Met some chick that wants me to go audition to be an extra in movies? THEN MET SAM BEAM. No big deal, he's just a total bad ass. Then came home friday and took it easy. Worked Saturday morning until 2 pm, then had a lunch date with Erky. After lunch, Jen and I went thrift store shopping to find costumes for the pagan/gypsy party we were attending that night. Left for the party around 9 pm in a heinous rain storm, had a pleasant ride with Jen and Kevin. Then partied our asses off until 5 in the morning. Came home and slept all day Sunday, then went to the Bean to do a script read. Then back to work on Monday.
All and all, life has been full of fun surprises and the meeting of new, interesting people. Love my job, love my friends, love my life.
